Terms of Use:
This list is provided as a resource for consumers who are seeking an assisted living program. Assisted living regulations require a preadmission screening to determine eligibility for an assisted living program. Assisted living programs may have requirements or conditions for admission in addition to those required by the state of Iowa. The assisted living programs listed in the directory have indicated that they have some level of willingness to serve residents who are eligible to participate in Medicaid programs. Inclusion in this directory does not signify the availability of a unit nor guarantee admission into the program. Each applicant will be screened on an individual basis by the program to determine eligibility, in the event that there is an available unit. Medicaid-eligible tenants who are accepted into an assisted living program will be responsible for rent payment. They are also responsible for the cost of any other goods or services not approved for payment under the Medicaid program.
