About The Rose of East Des Moines The Rose of East Des Moines offers one-bedroom and two-bedroom affordable assisted living in spacious private apartments with 24-hour monitoring and assisted living services available on-site and social programming in beautifully appointed community areas, including central dining with private chef. The 64-unit property was designed under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program to care for low-income seniors in an environment that protects privacy, dignity, and independence. The beautiful building offers many amenities, including a beauty/barber shop, activity room, sun room, game room, exercise room, community room with adjoining patio and raised-bed gardens, computer den with wireless internet access, a library/reading mezzanine with fireplace, a theater/chapel area, exercise and an outdoor walkway with a water feature. Personal and health-related care is provided by Freedom Home Health Care, a home health agency that customizes care for each resident to ensure health and well-being while protecting individuality and encouraging independence.
