About Lamoni Assisted Living Lamoni Assisted Living opened in 2007 to provide a needed housing option for those who are no longer able to live independently in their own home or apartment but are not suited for nursing home level of care. The 8-unit program was built using the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program and is attached to the Lamoni Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Each apartment includes a microwave, refrigerator, sit-down shower, and other amenities. Available on-site services include medication management, three meals per day, social and leisure activities, weekly flat linen laundry services, housekeeping, and 24-hour staff availability and emergency call system.
