- Today the Iowa Finance Authority recognized six lenders for their support of the
FirstHome and FirstHome Plus programs.

- The Iowa Finance Authority is pleased to announce a joint effort with the National
Development Council to bring its acclaimed Housing Development Finance Professional
Certification Program to Iowa beginning this May.
Registration materials to participate
in the training are due Friday, April 4.
- New purchase price and
income limits for IFA’s FirstHome and FirstHome Plus programs
became effectively recently.
- The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors recently approved awards from the
State Housing Trust Fund’s Project-Based Housing Program to seven organizations
around Iowa.

- Funds are still available from IFA’s Project-Based Housing Program of the State
Housing Trust Fund. Housing projects located in areas that aren’t certified as Local
Housing Trust Funds are eligible to apply for funds from the Project-Based Program
for single-family and multifamily housing development. The program’s application

- This spring Title Guaranty will host five
regional academies for lenders, abstractors
and attorneys. The events will take place in Mason City (April 22), Coralville (April
23), Des Moines (April 24) and Sioux City (May 7). Attendees can receive six hours
CLEs and six hours Iowa Mortgage CEs.
