At its November meeting, the IFA Board of Directors announced nearly $2 million in awards to Local Housing Trust Funds around Iowa. IFA is currently accepting applications for the State Housing Trust Fund’s Project-Based Based Program.
Congratulations to the Housing Fund for Linn County and the Fayette County Local Housing Trust Fund that were recently approved as Local Housing Trust Funds.
Aggregate application totals for the 2008 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit funding round are available now.

At its November board meeting the Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors approved Planning & Design Loans to the communities of Sac City and Woodbine and to ADLM (Appanoose, Davis, Lucas and Monroe).
Five communities have applied for funds from the Wastewater Treatment Financial Assistance Program that helps communities make changes to meet new water quality guidelines. The IFA Board of Directors will consider the applications in December. The applicants include the communities of Mapleton, Edgewood, Stuart, Truesdale and Mount Union.
